Seriously? With no Blu Ray of CAROUSEL, OKLAHOMA, CARMEN JONES and the MGM library including SINGIN’IN THE RAIN, THE BANDWAGON, SHOWBOAT and more and more and more. BUFFY was a nice little film but come on. Collectors are waiting for the titles mentioned above as well as many, many more.

And how about every Marilyn Monroe film she did at Fox? Where are they?

they announce this but not the tv series or the spin off angel which both are way better than the movie?

@jim
Why would they release the TV series on Blu-ray? Its sub-standard quality for DVD to start with, its not going to magically look better on Blu-ray when the source material is of such poor quality.
I love the Buffy series, but right from the start its always sucked for picture quality. The dark gritty scenes just did not transfer well to the limited technology they had to film it.
The later Angel episodes shown in HD barely benefit, even Firefly was a minor upgrade. They just weren’t shooting at high quality, they didn’t have the money.
