Comic-Con 2012: The Sci-Fi film “I Robot” on Blu-ray 3D coming October

It was revealed today at Comic-Con in San Diego that 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment officially plans to bring the 2005 Alex Proyas directed film “I Robot” (a.k.a. “I, Robot“) starring Will Smith to Blu-ray 3D on October 23rd. The release will come in the form of a “combo pack” with a DVD of the film in standard definition and a second DVD with bonus materials included (“chock full of extras”). Those bonus materials have not yet been detailed. Tech specs for the release have not been detailed either and the title is not yet available for pre-order over at Amazon but stay tuned. However attendees to Comic-Con will be able to pre-order an exclusive limited edition robot head versions for $99.99 at booth #4313 according to a press release just issued. The limited edition robot head version is pictured above and only 250 of these were created.
