2011 film “Soul Surfer” starring AnnaSophia Robb on Blu-ray in August

Sony Pictures has officially plans to bring the 2011 film “Soul Surfer” — based on the real-life story of surfer Bethany Hamilton — starring AnnaSophia Robb, Helen Hunt, Lorraine Nicholson, Carrie Underwood and Dennis Quaid to Blu-ray Disc on August 2nd. Tech specs for the release include full 1080p Hi-Def video in the 2.40:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound. The title is already available for PRE-ORDER over at Amazon with a $19.99 price tag. The release will be a “combo pack” with the DVD also included.
