2011 Marvel film “Thor” on both Blu-ray and Blu-ray 3D in September

Paramount & Marvel Studios officially announced plans to bring the 2011 Kenneth Branagh directed live-action film adaptation of the Marvel comic book character “Thor” starring Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Hopkins, Natalie Portman and Kat Dennings to Blu-ray Disc (2D) and Blu-ray 3D “combo packs” (with DVD & Digital Copy) — available separately — on September 13th. The tech specs for the release include full 1080p Hi-Def video and DTS-HD 7.1 Master Audio sound. The two versions, the 2D Blu-ray Disc (priced at $24.99) and the Blu-ray 3D (priced at $31.99) are available for PRE-ORDER over at Amazon. The bonus materials set to be included on the releases are vaguely hinted at below.
