2012 comedy “Tim & Eric’s Billion Dollar Movie” comes to Blu-ray in May

Fans of the [adult swim] show “Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!” will likely enjoy this news. In an early alert to retailers Magnet Releasing (owned and distributed by Magnolia Home Entertainment) has made public their plans to bring the 2012 comedy “Tim & Eric’s Billion Dollar Movie” starring Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim to Blu-ray Disc on May 8th. Tech specs for the release (appear to) include full 1080p Hi-Def video and DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound. The release will come in two forms: a standard Blu-ray release as well as a “combo pack” version with the DVD and Digital Copy included.
UPDATE: Both versions are now available for PRE-ORDER over at Amazon with the standard Blu-ray carrying a $20.99 price tag and the “combo pack” carrying a $24.49 price tag.
Further below after the break you’ll find the trailer for the film and it’s also worth mentioning that the film has been available as a (VOD) online digital rental on Amazon and iTunes since January. It doesn’t hit theaters until next month (March 2nd to be exact).
