2012 film “For Greater Glory” with Andy Garcia on Blu-ray in September

The 2012 film “For Greater Glory” directed by Dean Wright and starring Andy Garcia is coming to Blu-ray Disc on September 11th via Arc Entertainment according to an early alert to retailers. The film co-stars Oscar Isaac, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Santiago Cabrera, Eva Longoria and Peter O’Toole. It is known that two versions will be released of the film on Blu-ray with one being Blu-ray only and the other a “combo pack” with Blu-ray and DVD. It appears that both versions are available for pre-order HERE & HERE over at Amazon with each carrying a $23.09 price tag. However, it’s unclear by the listings on Amazon which version is which. So, if you’re interested in pre-ordering the film you really might want to wait until it’s known which version you’re ordering unless you don’t care about getting a DVD of the film; considering that they’re both the same price anyway. I expect Amazon to update these pre-order listings soon. Stay tuned for that as well as further info regarding this film on Blu-ray.

UPDATE: I’ve just received the cover art (pictured above) for the “combo pack” version of the film on Blu-ray. Tech specs have been confirmed to include full 1080p Hi-Def video and DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound. The only bonus material set to be included on the release is “The True Story of the Cristeros” featurette.
