Warner plans to bring Wolfgang Petersen’s 1984 fantasy film “The Neverending Story” to Blu-ray in March of 2010

Warner has announced plans officially to bring the 1984 classic fantasy film “The Neverending Story” directed by Wolfgang Petersen to Blu-ray Disc on March 2nd, 2010. Tech specs include full 1080p Hi-Def video (likely in the original 2.35:1 aspect ratio) but no official announcement yet regarding the codec and configuration of the audio. Bonus materials sadly are only set to include the “Theatrical Trailer“.
UPDATE: This title is now available for PRE-ORDER over at Amazon with a $20.49 price tag.
