We’re having a CONTEST for Michael Moore’s “Capitalism: A Love Story” on home video plus an autographed hat
March 3, 2010 – 3:01 AM - Posted by: Justin SlussTags: Anchor Bay, Autographed Baseball Cap, Blu-ray, Capitalism: A Love Story, Contest, DVD, Michael Moore, Starz
In promotion for the upcoming (March 9th) home video release of Michael Moore‘s latest film “Capitalism: A Love Story” — which I reviewed HERE — we are going to be giving away the film on both Blu-ray Disc and DVD as well as offering a GRAND PRIZE, An Autographed Baseball Cap — yes, by Moore himself.
To enter the contest you have to leave a comment below — you can discuss Michael Moore‘s films in a POSITIVE manner to be qualified for the grand prize or just leave a basic comment to be entered for the film itself. NEGATIVE comments will automatically disqualify you and obviously be deleted. Make sure that you sign up under your real working e-mail address, so that we can notify you if you win. The body of the comment, as mentioned above, should be you discussing your favorite Michael Moore film (documentary) to prove you are actually a fan worthy of the grand prize (the autographed hat) or just your basic comment to be entered for the film (normal prizes). We will pick 3 random winners from the comments field below later next week or so — timed with the release of the film. So, start your entries but remember to read the rules above carefully to be eligible for the grand prize. One last and VERY IMPORTANT rule. All entries MUST be from U.S. (United States) residents and cannot be a P.O. box address.

I like his films because they give people some information about topics that they may not otherwise read about. They get you thinking which a lot of cookie-cutter movies these days do not. Hope to win, thanks.

Looking at his IMDB entry, it looks like I have never seen a Michael Moore film–I thought I would have at least seen one of his films!

I guess Bowling for Columbine is my favorite, its the only one I’ve seen, there are a few others I would check out, but I think I’ve turned into an HD snob.
Thanks HDDN.

I enjoy his films but haven’t seen Sicko yet….

I’ve seen several of his films. And, while I don’t always agree with him, I do find his films highly entertaining and insightful. My favs are “Roger and Me” and “Sicko.” Haven’t seen “Capitalism” yet, but some of clips were wickedly funny.

I have been trying to see this Capitalism for quite a while. Highdefdiscnews.com is the bomb, as is Micheal Moore. Both are equally groundbreaking, astonishing and admirable.

Honest bold movies.
But not the complete picture.

Today will the last day for entries in this contest. Also worth noting, I have yet to receive the autographed hat and DVD yet from the PR firm that was supplying those. I do however have the Blu-ray version which I’ll give away first I guess until I get the other prizes in. So again, last day for entries. One entry per e-mail address and must all be U.S. residents and no P.O. boxes.
