According to The Wall Street Journal Best Buy will start on Wednesday March 10th carrying 3D HDTV displays, Blu-ray 3D Players as well as demo the FIRST Blu-ray 3D Disc, a demo disc from the folks at Panasonic at over 200 stores nationwide but first at their Times Square story in New York/ The first 3D HDTV displays they will offer will be from Panasonic in 50″ size on March 10th. Then (according to HDGuru) on March 21st they will start offering Samsung‘s display in 46″ and 55″ inch sizes at over 900 of their stores. Both companies will also have Blu-ray 3D Players available (in that same timeframe). Model numbers for these 3D displays and Blu-ray 3D Players are listed in our tags.
UPDATE: Pretty funny bit here, I quoted that guy from “HDGuru” and he e-mailed me threatening to sue over what was in “blockquote” which SHOWS that something is quoted from another source. Safe to say I won’t be linking to him anymore. In fact here is some more information regarding the Samsung 3D HDTV‘s and Blu-ray 3D Players from the much cooler folks over at Home Media Magazine.
