Adam Green’s “Frozen” coming to Blu-ray in September

I was talking back and forth yesterday via Twitter with writer/director Adam Green and discussing if he had seen the Hi-Def transfer Anchor Bay (Starz) has done of his 2006 film “Hatchet” — which is set to be released on Blu-ray Disc on September 7th. As Green said in reply (found HERE) “I have not seen it but if it’s as good as the SPIRAL Blu Ray transfer I’ll be very happy.” I managed to realize we had never received a screener of that on Blu-ray which was released back in February. I also managed to ask Adam some information regarding the upcoming Blu-ray release of his most recent film to-date “Frozen” which has been available for PRE-ORDER over at Amazon for a while now — with a $25.99 price tag. According to Mr. Green himself (tweet reply found HERE) we can expect it to be released in September. We’ll be sure to pass along the exact date and details once Anchor Bay makes a formal press release. I’d like to thank Adam Green for being very co-operative here. I’m personally looking forward to reviewing both “Hatchet” and “Frozen” later this September.

UPDATE: Amazon has now changed their PRE-ORDER listing to reflect a September 28th release date for “Frozen” on Blu-ray Disc.
