UPDATE: Anchor Bay details Adam Green’s “Hatchet” Blu-ray

Anchor Bay (A Starz company) has announced via a trade ad (pictured above and HERE) plans to bring Adam Green‘s 2006 horror film “Hatchet” to Blu-ray Disc on September 7th in an UNRATED Director’s Cut.

UPDATE: This title is now available for PRE-ORDER over at Amazon with a $24.49 price tag. Also a PRESS RELEASE has now been issued and gives further details. Tech specs will include full 1080p Hi-Def video in the 1.78:1 aspect ratio and (oddly enough) Dolby TrueHD 5.1 sound (instead of the usual PCM). The bonus materials set to be included are listed below.
