“Dexter: The Sixth Season” with Michael C. Hall comes to Blu-ray in August

In an early alert to retailers Paramount (distributing for the Showtime network) has made public their plans to bring “Dexter: The Sixth Season” to Blu-ray Disc on August 14th. Tech specs include full 1080p Hi-Def video in the 1.78:1 aspect ratio and (presumably, as on the previous five seasons) Dolby TrueHD 5.1 sound — although not yet confirmed by the studio. It’s known for a fact the release will be a 3-disc set. No info yet regarding bonus materials but stay tuned. The title is already available for PRE-ORDER over at Amazon with a $45.99 price tag.
