UPDATE: This title is now available for PRE-ORDER over at Amazon with a $38.49 price tag.
Disney has plans, according to our friends over at The HD Room & TV Shows on DVD, to bring “Scrubs: The Complete Eighth Season” to Blu-ray Disc on November 17th. This comes 3 months roughly after the title will hit DVD on August 25th. I’m not sure why this strategy is being used here. The last I heard this was the opposite of what Disney wanted to do on Blu-ray Disc versus DVD. However, if you do opt for the DVD version and 3 months (or so) later decide to upgrade to the Blu-ray Disc version, you will be eligible for a $10 Rebate. Tech specs include 2 discs and that’s really all known so far in that area. You can find even more details on this upcoming release in the trade ad. Bonus materials will include a BD exclusive, in addition to DVD ports and are listed below.
* My Bahamas Trip
* Deleted Scenes
* Bloopers
* Alternate Lines
* 10 Webisodes
* 2 Additional Webisodes (BD exclusive)

Grey’s Anatomy may not be coming to Blu-ray day and date with the DVD either, like previously announced. Cover art was revised with new revision released on the Blu-ray release. I then checked Disney’s schedule and it’s still listed but missing a release date, but the DVD is still set.
