FOX to bring “The Secret Life of Bees” to Blu-ray Disc in February 2009 to go along with Black History Month

FOX has announced a February 3rd, 2009 Blu-ray Disc release of the film “The Secret Life of Bees” starring Queen Latifah and Dakota Fanning. Gina Prince-Bythewood wrote and directed the film who most might know for 2000′s “Love & Basketball“. The BD / DVD release date is timed to go with the Black History Month theme according to a recent trade ad (pictured above until we get better cover art). Currently there’s no technical specs or bonus materials announced for this in the form of a press release or a pre-order listing on Amazon.com but stay tuned and we’ll keep you updated.
