“God Bless America” directed by Bobcat Goldthwait comes to Blu-ray in July

In an early alert to retailers Magnet Releasing (owned and distributed by Magnolia Home Entertainment) has made public their plans to bring the 2011 Bobcat Goldthwait written & directed, Richard Kelly produced dark comedy “God Bless America” starring Joel Murray and Tara Lynne Barr to Blu-ray Disc (appropriately enough) on July 3rd. Tech specs and bonus materials for the release have not yet been detailed but stay tuned. The title is already available for PRE-ORDER over at Amazon with a $27.49 price tag.
The film is also already available via VOD (video on demand) at Amazon, iTunes and YouTube — all priced at $9.99 for the 720p HD rental. This is part of a pre-theatrical VOD release and the film will receive a limited theatrical run starting on May 11th. Below after the break you’ll find the trailer for the film.
