“Holy Flying Circus” TV movie about Monty Python on Blu-ray September

“Holy Flying Circus” the 2011 TV movie that aired on BBC is coming to Blu-ray Disc on September 4th from Acorn Media. The film plays as a docudrama of sorts that focuses on the point in 1979 when the members of the British comedy troupe “Monty Python” had just released their film “Life of Brian” that satirized the life of Jesus Christ and the controversial response they received from religious groups. Tech specs for the release include 1080i Hi-Def video and Uncompressed Linear PCM 2.0 Stereo sound. The title is already available for PRE-ORDER over at Amazon with a $24.49 price tag. The release will come in the form of a “combo pack with a DVD of the TV movie included. Bonus materials set to be included are listed below.
