“Invasion of the Body Snatchers” on Blu-ray in September

In an early alert to retailers MGM (distributed by FOX) has announced plans to bring the 1978 remake of “Invasion of the Body Snatchers” to Blu-ray Disc on September 14th. The film was directed by Philip Kaufman and starred Donald Sutherland, Jeff Goldblum, and Leonard Nimoy. Tech specs and bonus materials have not yet been announced but stay tuned and we’ll keep you updated. The title is already available for PRE-ORDER over at Amazon with a $17.49 price tag.
UPDATE: This title (according to Amazon) is set to include a DVD of the film as well in Standard Definition in the “combo” style of releases that MGM and FOX are doing with their catalog titles. More details on this soon, just wanted to update you to this information.
