James Cameron’s “Ghosts of the Abyss” coming to Blu-ray 3D in September

In an early alert to retailers Disney has made public their plans to bring the 2003 James Cameron documentary “Ghosts of the Abyss” featuring Bill Pullman to Blu-ray 3D on September 11th. This release is perfectly timed to coincide with the 3D and 2D release of his 1997 film “Titanic” which will street 1 day before on September 10th. This will be a “combo pack” with a standard Blu-ray Disc in 2D as well as a DVD of the film included.
UPDATE: This title is now available for PRE-ORDER over at Amazon with a $31.49 price tag. Tech specs for the release include full 1080p Hi-Def video in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound. The only bonus material set to be included is a “Reflections from the Deep” featurette.
