MGM announces “The Princess Bride” 20th Anniversary Edition is finally coming to Blu-ray Disc this March

UPDATE: This release will also include a DVD of the film. Not a Digital Copy, an actual DVD of the film will be included — Think “Sleeping Beauty“.

MGM has just sent us a PRESS RELEASE officially announcing that “The Princess Bride” in a 20th Anniversary Edition is headed to Blu-ray Disc on March 17th. Tech specs so far include DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio but that’s all we know and there is no pre-order listing yet over at Amazon.com but stay tuned and we’ll keep you updated.
