MGM reveals details about the upcoming June 16th Blu-ray Disc release of Mel Brooks’ “Spaceballs” film

MGM has just issued a PRESS RELEASE revealing details on the upcoming June 16th Blu-ray Disc release of Mel Brooks‘ 1987 parody film “Spaceballs“. First off worth noting is that this will be a “combo pack” release and include both a Blu-ray and DVD version of the film. As you’ll notice below in the details about bonus materials, the DVD will actually be double-sided and include both 4×3 and 16×9 presentations. Tech specs include 1080p AVC video on a BD-50 (50 gigabyte) disc and DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound. This title is currently available for PRE-ORDER over at Amazon.com with a $19.49 price tag.
