Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has a promotion with online retailer Amazon where if you go ahead and PRE-ORDER the 2012 sequel “Men in Black 3” on either Blu-ray Disc or Blu-ray 3D you’ll receive a promotional code to see the film in theaters. It just started playing theatrically yesterday (Friday May 25th). The tech specs, bonus materials and release date for the Blu-ray and Blu-ray 3D releases have not yet been detailed but stay tuned. It is known however that they will both come in the form of a “combo pack” with the Blu-ray receiving a DVD and UltraViolet digital copy, while the Blu-ray 3D will be receiving a Blu-ray (in 2D), a DVD and UltraViolet digital copy. The pre-order listings price tags are as follows: $28.69 for the Blu-ray Disc and $39.19 for the Blu-ray 3D.
It’s also worth noting that you can get that very same promo code to receive a ticket to see the film by purchasing either the first or second film in the franchise which are both priced at $13.00 each. A link to that offer can be found HERE. Below after the break you’ll find the trailer for the film.
