“The Expendables 2″ comes to Blu-ray in November with the first 11.1 mix

The 2012 Simon West directed action sequel “The Expendables 2” starring Sylvester Stallone is coming to Blu-ray Disc on November 20th via Lionsgate. The film co-stars Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Chuck Norris, Terry Crews, Randy Couture, Liam Hemsworth, Jean Claude Van Damme, Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger. Tech specs for this release are really interesting as they include full 1080p Hi-Def video in the 2.40:1 aspect ratio with DTS Neo:X 11.1 and DTS-HD 7.1 Master Audio. This, as far as I know, is THE FIRST Blu-ray Disc release to get the DTS Neo:X 11.1 treatment. This should be really awesome for those on the proper AV receivers and speaker systems to decode this. The release will come with both a Digital Copy and an UltraViolet digital copy of the film. The title is available for PRE-ORDER over at Amazon with a $27.99 price tag.
