“The Funhouse” & “Terror Train” are both coming to Blu-ray in October

Shout! Factory via their new brand Scream Factory officially plans to bring the films “The Funhouse” from 1981 and “Terror Train” from 1980 to Blu-ray Disc on October 16th in “Collector’s Edition” form. “The Funhouse” was directed by Tobe Hooper, starred Elizabeth Berridge, Shawn Carson, Jeanne Austin, Jack McDermott, Cooper Huckabee and Kevin Conway. “Terror Train” was directed by Roger Spottiswoode, starred Jamie Lee Curtis, Ben Johnson, Hart Bochner and real-life magician David Copperfield. “Terror Train” will come in the form of a “combo pack” with a DVD of the film in standard definition also included.
UPDATE: Tech specs for both of the releases include full 1080p Hi-Def video. The aspect ratio for “The Funhouse” is 2.35:1 and it will include DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound. The aspect ratio for “Terror Train” is 1.85:1 and audio quality & configuration have not yet been announced. The two titles are now available for pre-order over at Shout! Factory Store with some exclusive physical bonus materials in the form of a limited edition poster HERE and HERE with $21.95 price tags each. Both of the title are also available for PRE-ORDER over at Amazon with each carrying a $20.95 price tag. The bonus materials set to be included on the releases are listed below.
