The original 1974 version of “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre” coming to Blu-ray

One of our competitor sites is reporting that Indie home video distributor Dark Sky Films plans to release the original 1974 version of the horror classic “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre” on Blu-ray Disc. A September 30th release date is mentioned and we get rumor that it’s set to include some new bonus materials, most likely those found on their 2-Disc DVD Special Edition they released 2 years ago. This could be really awesome, we’ll get you more news on this as it becomes known.
UPDATE: I’ve got word from the PR (Public Relations) for the distributor that this release date is correct and they should be providing us with a press release soon. Stay tuned!
