Universal announces plans to bring Henry Selick’s 2009 animated film “Coraline” to Blu-ray Disc in July

Universal has announced plans to bring the 2009 animated film “Coraline” to Blu-ray Disc on July 21st. The film was co-wrote and Directed by Henry Selick who’s previous directing credits include “The Nightmare Before Christmas” for Tim Burton. The film will be presented in both 2-D and 3-D versions (presumably each on separate discs) with four pairs of 3-D glasses included. Tech specs include full 1080p Hi-Def (likely in VC-1 codec) and DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound. The title currently isn’t available for pre-order over at Amazon but stay tuned and we will keep you updated. On bonus materials, a Digital Copy, Bonus View enabled PIP via “U-Control” and the of course, the obvious BD-Live is included. Below you’ll find full details on bonus materials.
