Warner bringing 9 catalog films including “Mean Streets” to Blu-ray in July

Warner (as well as subsidiary company New Line) plans to bring 9 chilling crime thrillers to Blu-ray Disc for the very first time on July 17th. The nine films are all catalog titles and are listed below in alphabetical order with their year of release.
- “The Butterfly Effect” (2004)
- “The Butterfly Effect 2” (2006)
- “Cellular” (2004)
- “Hard to Kill” (1990)
- “Just Cause” (1995)
- “Mean Streets” (1973)
- “Murder in the First” (1995)
- “Next of Kin” (1989)
- “A Perfect Murder” (1998)
Tech specs have not yet been announced for any of the titles yet, nor have bonus materials but stay tuned. We do know, from the trade ad pictured above, that each title will carry a $19.98 SRP (suggested retail price) each. It’s also being shown that each release will be on a BD-25 (25 gigabyte single layer) Blu-ray Disc.
UPDATE: These titles are now available for PRE-ORDER over at Amazon with each carrying a $13.99 price tag.
