Warner has just sent out an e-mail to press (pictured HERE) announcing the upcoming release of “Watchmen: The Ultimate Cut” for Blu-ray Disc on November 3rd. The 4-Disc set will include the previous releases “Watchmen: The Complete Motion Comic” (all 12 episodes), “Watchmen: Tales of the Black Freighter” integrated into the film itself to give a more in-depth experience like the graphic novel intended. The bonus content found on Black Freighter, “Under the Hood” will also be included as well as all the original bonus content and even 2 new commentary tracks and other various such things as well as a Digital Copy of the theatrical version of the film. Tech specs I’m assuming will remain the same in VC-1 on a BD-50 disc using DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio for sound. The title isn’t yet available for pre-order but stay tuned and we’ll keep you posted. Below you’ll find a rundown of bonus content disc by disc for this release.
