Warner officially announces plans to bring Paul Thomas Anderson’s “Magnolia” to Blu-ray January 2010

Warner (distributor and parent to New Line) has officially announced today in their WHV Newsletter (pictured HERE), plans to bring the 1999 Paul Thomas Anderson directed film “Magnolia” to Blu-ray Disc on January, 19th, 2010 (yes, next year). It has also been hinted in trade ads that another one of Anderson‘s films “Boogie Nights” is also coming to Blu-ray in 2010 as well. Tech specs include full 1080p Hi-Def video on a BD-50 (50 gigabyte disc) with Dolby TrueHD 5.1 Surround sound. The title isn’t yet available for pre-order but stay tuned and we will, as always, keep you updated. The bonus materials set to be included on this release are listed below:
